My Everest is: RIDE MY BIKE ACROSS AMERICA FOR OTHERS
polonia001
I want to participate in the Big Ride for the American Lung Cancer Society. It is 48 days from Washington state to Washington D.C. I was over 300 pound less than 3 years ago received 2 stents in my heart last year and now I use my second chance at life to live for myself and to help others. This challenge is something that I will remember for the rest of my life but by doing it, I am not only raising funds for others but also I am able to use my experience to educate those around me. I look at this as my Everest because everything I have set out to accomplish, I have done and this is the ultimate challenge and ultimate goal in the next chapter of my life. If I am not chosen, I am OK with that because I am sure, whomever is the person lucky enough to be the winner, that they will strive just as I would to reach their Everest not only for themselves but for all of who submitted our own goals. This is a contest where we are all winners just by participating because we all know what our Everest is and as long as we can envision our goals, they are within our reach. Good luck to everyone and congratulations in advance on reaching the summit of YOUR EVEREST.
