My Everest is: Starting my own business
ghoverkamp
Since October of 2008, I have been unemployed, and struggling each and every day to fight off the down trodden outlook of our country's economy. I have always been a hard, dedicated and ambitious worker, getting my first job at 14, and being productive since that day. My family has also had it rough, with my father losing his job last Christmas as well. We've bonded, inspired each other, and been there for each other with each passing hardship. The time has come, however, to be the captain of my own destiny! I will no longer wait for things to get better, I've realize you have to get out there and make them better! To that end, I have been designing and researching business plans to start a coffee shop in brooklyn dedicated to those that pursue life's adventures to the highest peaks of their imaginations. Adventurers on two-wheels, bicycles and motorcycles, will be welcomed to share their trips, their stories, their successes and failures. "Roasted" will be a place of gather, helping, fixing, and enjoying, with coffee, good food, and free tools to use to help get people on the road and on the way to their own mountains.

want to help this person with their everest?
where am i?

My business plans and budgets are near completion, and I am hunting for the right location to begin. The ability to accomplish my vision will be as much about money as it will be about heart!

how am i stuck?

This dream will happen, one way or another, but what's truly holding me back is funding. Being unemployed, helping my family, and paying off college....its a game of magical math!
