My Everest is: Becoming a professional cyclist
Jack
Growing up, I had a rocky start. I was born 4 months premature and weighted one pound, six ounces. My mom always told people that I was the size of a barbie doll which is 11 inches tall. Due to my early birth, I have a profound hearing loss. One of my biggest idols in life and who I admire very much is Lance Armstrong because he had to overcome obstacles just like me. When Lance rides, it is not about winning 7 Tour De Frances in a row or money, it is about dedicating yourself to a higher purpose. It is about making the lives of others better around yourself like for example, LiveStrong. Its about people battling medical conditions and they climb Mt. Everest everyday. If I could make my Everest dream one step closer. It would be great. I wouldn't ride for the fame or the money (well, maybe for a little fame and money). I would help better the lives of others and share my life story.

Since high school and being in college, team sports was my life. My parents encouraged me play for the socialization aspect. Now I train everyday indoors during bad weather,& ride when I can outdoors

how am i stuck?

I am stuck on buying new parts for my bike or purchasing a new racing bike. I have been using a bike that I got off of EBay 5 years ago. My dream bike would be a Trek Madone 6.9 Pro
