I am the mother of four. My children are my life. My oldest is going to start college next fall. My hope is that I’m able to earn my bachelors degree before he finishes his. I’ve had many landslides in my time in school. I’ve endured an abusive relationship, the loss of my mother, a sister and a brother. Yet I keep fighting because I see the flag on the top of this mountain and I want it bad. I have three young children that need to be supported and minimum wage doesn’t cut it. By earning my degree I will be able to show my children that education is very important and even with life throwing in pitfalls it is possible. With my degree I will be able to support them without any outside help. Which will be a godsend.
